Tinting soft top windows?
Not sure if this should belong here or in the stock JK section...
Is there an effective way to tint the windows on a soft top? Is there a product made specifically to do this, maybe a dye or spray on product??
Does anyone have experience doing/trying it?

Applying film--Not gonna last
Using a tint spray--Will eventually flake off
Dying the plastic--???????
I would opt for purchasing a new set of "windows" from Qtec or somewhere that are made with tinted material.
The spray tint stuff of the market is junk. I see countless vehicles in the not-so-nice part of Omaha that have this junk as well as the bubbling film.

You cant do anything, U can find them on ebay for under $200 or you can buy after market set. The plastic windows stretch and shrink with the temps. No matter what you do to them it will not last very long at all.
I put static cling tint on mine. It's not perfect but has held up fairly well for 9 months. It cost me less than $20. I will likely buy replacement windows from bestop that are already tinted.
