Tire help. 285/75/17
Hey guys, I've searched the forums and googled, but couldn't find any pics of anyone running this size tire? I'm thinking of the toyo open country mt in that size. I have a leveling kit, and wondering if anyone would know if they would work (stock wheels)? If there's any pictures out there, please post, or send me a link. Thanks guys

If you mean 285/70/17's, they should clear fine with your leveling kit. Don't know how wide they are, but if you get some rubbing on the swaybar links at both ends of max turning radius, just add a washer to your steering stops and you should be good.
Believe there's a writeup in the project jk section under wheels and tires.

You may find that the 285/75 series tire are more difficult to find than the 70 or I should say, less common. That's not to say they are not out there. The 70 will be just a little wider than the 75.

285 is the width. 70/75 is the height. Here are your measurements:
285/70-17 = 32.71" tall, 11.22" wide
285/75-17 = 33.83" tall, 11.22" wide
