Default Tire opinions wanted

trying to decide between a 285/75/16 or a 305/70/16. Basically a 33x11.5 vs a 33x12.5. These are going on some Pro Comp 8179's with 4.5" backspacing. What is your opinion? Anyone have any pictures?

12.5, imho. You should have the backspacing for it, and I like the wider look.

Go for the 12.5s. Better off road.

I have 285/75R16 Cooper Discoverer S/T's and have been very pleased with both their on and off road performance. I have 4" backspacing and they stick out about a 1/2" past the stock flares.

I am running BFG A/T on mine, basically 33x10.5. I like the stance and would actually like to add spacers and bring the tires out to the edge of the fenders. A small group of us went into the mud the other day and I was the only Jeep that didn't sling mud into the cab with the doors and top off.. I thought that was good, but plan on going wider when I get the chance....

Go for the pizza cutter look - 255/85R16 - 33X10.50-16.
