37" Load Range C (6 ply) tire w/17" beadlocks @ 8-12psi...

What's your budget on this tire/rim package? And your suspension plan?

Rock crawling usually requires a tire with tough sidewalls (abrasion and puncture resistant) that still flex well at lower air pressure to conform to irregular surfaces and a tough thread (to avoid chunking) but with a soft enough compound to provide good traction.

Toyo MT's and MTR/Ks are two popular choices.

I've got Hankook Dynapro MT's. I really like'em but you might wanna avoid them. They're pretty hard and have a fairly stiff sidewall. Probably not the greatest rock crawlers. Do you need a streetable tire or just a rock tire?
I bet BFG Krawlers would be good on rocks. Instead of Nitto Mud Grapplers have you looked at the Trail Grappplers? They look sweet and probably won't destroy your mileage. I know quite a few guys who run BFG MT's because they say the sidewalls soft and they'll go most places.
Good luck! There are a hell of a lot of options out there. Hope you pick the right one!

Toyo MT's without a doubt, this is my 2nd set of tires and I will never go with anything else again.
