Default Tire rotation question?

so this is my third set of tires on my JK and I did not rotatethe spare on the other sets. The question is can I rotate the tires in a circle RF-LF LF-LR LR-SP SP-RR RR-RF? a mechanic told me "not to move the tires from one side of the vehicle to another because it broke the belts inside the tires and to move front to back, but not side to side". This makes the rotation of the spare problematic. I'm not an expert, but this sounds wrong to me. Can you guys confirm or deny?
Thanks ZACK

Default to add some details

im running NITTO terra grapplers and the tread is directional, but the tires are made to be mounted with either side out. The letters are different and the tread points inside or out depending on which side you mount outwards. This seems to me like the side swapping wouldnt be a problem.

I'm not sure on the answer to this, but it just seems to me that the spare would have to be flipped on the rim if it truly was that important. With directional you have a 50/50 shot that the tire that fails is facing the same direction as your spare is facing.

I always rotate in a circle just remember to continue the same direction next time you rotate. As in always to the left or to the right.

Rotating in a circle isn't such a great idea. The primary thing you want to have happen is moving the tires front to rear on rotation. Having two rotations with the same tire being in the front is all too likely to create issues.

x3 on this diagram, i have BFG MT's as well.

On a sidenote, when I'm using a floor jack on the front driver side, where's a good jack point? It's not tall enough to use the frame as a jack point, and there's not enough room between the diff and the control arm mount for both the floor jack lift and the jack stand? Seems like my two choices were lift on the front diff itself, or lift on my evo lower front control arm skid/mount. I have the AEV jack base so I could just use the stock scissor jack on the frame, but it's annoying to be able to floor jack everything else and not the front driver side corner. Thanks.
