Tire Slime = Death Wobble?
dad-gumm-it... MF'n JAMB NUT.
I left work for lunch and i got the DW twice. I went home and started going over everything again.
The TB ends were TIGHT and the drag link and tie rod were tight.
The jamb nut was tight too, but i had the steering wheel turned to get at it.
I thought to myself, when the wheel is turned, the TB is loaded.
I straightened the wheel and jerked on the TB and I felt a MY-NOOOOOT amount of wiggle.
I broke out the pipe wrench and found that since I put on the TB bracket brace, I only had about 5 degrees to ratchet the jamb nut between the draglink and the tierod.
Long story short, I got about a half turn (combined effort) on it.
I took it out for a test run and NO DW at all. I tried every pot hole around and I think she's cured now.
Lesson learned: DW is almost ALWAYS due to the TB.

When I tighten my tack bar I always have the wheels all the way turned, I have to otherwise I can't get a socket on the track bar cause the drag link blocks it.
Does that mean it is not being tightened correctly since the wheels are turned when I do it?

The TB ends should be OK to tighten while the wheel is turned.
The jamb-nut, on the other hand felt tight whith the wheel turned, but when I straightened the wheel, I could wiggle it ever so slightly.
In short, I think you're OK to tighten the ends while the wheel is turned, but double check the jamb-nut when the wheels are straight.
