KM2's are ACCEPTABLE? I have been watching tires for years and querrying people about their tires. KM2's are the best thing available right now. I very rarely use my lockers and go places with less fuss than the other brand mentioned. KM2's are the closest thing I've seen to a "magic" tire and I've been doing this since the early 70's.

Tires aside (BTW I like 'em both but, whew the Toyos are pricey)
I think a 3" lift is too much if you are looking to fill the fenders. If you must have a spring lift
TF has a 2.5" that would look great w/ 33's (or 35's later) and give you plenty of "flex" room.

IMO a 2" spacer kit w/ new quality mono tube shocks would be a better choice for a 33" tire.
HappyCurmudgeon has a 2" and 33's setup that looks pretty sweet:yup:. If you, later, add weight
to the front ... ie. bumpers and winch, change the front spacer to a 2.5" to compensate.

Anyhoo... look into Cooper STT's similiar to the Toyo's but in the BFG price range. They also
offer a 295/70-17 which equates to a true 33".

With that much lift the bigger tire is gooing to look better.

I have had both and can tell you that on wet pavement the Toyos are much better. I'll stick with the Toyos until something better comes out.

I love my BFG 33's...

I currently have the Toyos on several vehicles and really like them... Since they don't last forever and are really pricey, I am going to try the km2s next.. The extra thigh sidewalls on the Toyos make them ride a little rough but running lower air pressure helps alot...
