Default Going to Moab in 2 months, what do I need?

I'm going camping, river rafting, hiking and four wheeling for a week in late May.
We will be making a 14 hour drive from West Texas each way.

The folks I'm going with will be renting a 2 door jk when they get there.
We will be staying in a hotel at night.

I'm trying to figure out what I might "need" to procure between now and then to make things better/more fun/less stressful.
I'm really serious about being as prepared as possible pretty much whatever I'm doing.

I'll give a thorough rundown of everything I'm running now and y'all can make suggestions as to what else I should bring along.

Not knowing exactly what to expect, this will help me a ton.
Thanks so much!

2012 Unlimited Sport
3.6L (13k miles)
3:21 gears
K&n filter in stock air box
2.5" rough country Coil spacer lift
Factory shocks
2.5" shock extensions
Brake line extensions
Extended length quick disconnect sway bar links
Control arm relocation brackets
315/75 r 16 kumho road venture mt (including spare)
Stock 16" wheels
Smittybilt tube step bar
Chopped factory fenders
Stubbed factory bumpers w tow hooks
Aev pro cal
Kc driving lights windshield mounted
Spider web shade mesh top and cargo tops
Front and rear grab handles
Recovery strap
Small shovel
Misc Hand tools
150 psi 12v air compressor
First aid kit
Jumper cables
Hatchet
Tire repair stuff
Hand towels
Leather gloves
2 ton floor jack
Two 3 ton jack stands
Cooler

I have a 1.25 inch body lift in my garage ready to install.
I'm very seriously considering getting a front a rear bumper from e auto grilles on eBay.
Especially since my 35 inch spare has been mounted on my tailgate for 12k miles...

I realize a factory jeep can go and be fine, but like I said, I want to be extra prepared.
Anyone that has been to Moab before and can give me some wise advice would be awesome.

Thanks guys!!

You might want to trim the pinch seam I see in you pic. Other than that I have no idea what else. But maybe extra front shafts incase you want to wheel hard. Alot of water and sun block it'll be sunny and hot. I plan on taking a trip next yr. I'm front south Texas. Lucky you hope you have a good one. Check out the water cooler an look under the Moab thread you'll find alot more help and ideas there.

Those 3.21 gears might hurt you if you want to do some serious wheeling but other than that you should be ok. Trim the pinch seem for sure.

I'd invest in a HD tire carrier/bumper if you plan on carrying a 35" spare on the trail. Otherwise, you're asking for tailgate damage.

Default Remember the fun!

You will be fine in Moab and there are parts available if you do break anything.
Best part is the fun you will be having...

thanks river,
thats a great call

i purchased a rear bumper/tire carrier this evening

it’ll be nice not to have to listen to the tail gate creak,
plus, I’m pretty sure i would've broken those spot welds up in utah...

Trim the pinch seams and should be good to go...I have 3.21's also and they suck but I have wheeled with them before and it deff couldn't get any worse lol. They will be good for getting decent gas mileage on your 14 hour ride there but when you come home you'll prob be saving up for some bigger gears

I would suggest either a jack spacer (from AEV) or a hi-lift.

Have you decided what trails you're running? theres lots of "easy" trails with great views you can stick to with leass worry about breaking anything.

think about bringing spare fluids also
