Default Too Tall for Spiderweb Shade?

I have a Spiderweb Shade on my 2 door X model, and my head hits the damn thing. I'm only 6'1" but my seats dont raise/lower due to the X model. I cant be the only one with this problem. Any suggestions?

Love the top but tired of my head hitting it.

I'm just a little taller and wanted one for the summer season. 10 minutes of riding with a friend who has one and I no longer want one, they're irritating for taller folks.

Recline the seat and pretend to be a gangster?

In all seriousness I know what you mean. It's terribly annoying!

I'm 6' 4" and removed mine... you might be able to get a bow for a soft top and see if that lifts it up a bit for you.

Put an AirRock system on it and you're all set!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't your head be hitting the soft top too? My Spiderwebshade doesn't hang down more than an inch from the soft top, I've had it under there for the past 2 years. I have no clue how high the seats sit in an X though

No soft top. I have hardtop and they sit will above the level of the rollbars. Guess its a trade off....the way the sw shade attaches it sits about half the level of the rollbars. Doesnt sit on top.

Our SW shade sits almost level with the top of the roll bar and been 5'6" helps too. Even when we raise the seat all the way up while off roading, it never bothers me.

Try JeepTopsUSA. These shades sit on top of the rollbars.

+1.....that might be just enough clearance to make a difference for you. I couldn't live without my SWS. Sun is just so harsh without something of the sort, but I'm fairly hardcore in regards to being topless, and it's hot here in Texas.
