The KRA62C is a nice option from Snap On.

I use a Bucket Boss Gatemouth canvas Tool Bag (17x9x12) with two canvas wrench rolls and two canvas tool rolls in it (one of each is metric - the other SAE). Can you say quiet? They are the Bucket Boss brand and an outfit call All-Spec ( all-spec.com ) has killer prices. For some misc stuff that doesn't fit in the rolls I have some Klein Tools canvas bags (like the old bank deposit bags) that I got from Grainger that also go in the bigger canvas bag. This is a really nice set up and beats the dickens out of a noisy toolbox.

Even though the JK is mostly metric I carry SAE to help others.

Here's my write-up for a permanently fitted toolbox that won't fly around in the back. With the Bestop Duster trunk cover fitted on top, its hidden. https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-write-ups-39/lockbox-bolted-into-jk-trunk-floor-43862/

Got this one from Wal-Mart. It was about $40. It's been soaked in rainstorms a couple times and is pretty tight, nothing in the box ever got wet. I use rubber straps attached to the LATCH bars on the rear seat to keep it from moving.

For my "toolbox" toolbox I just use a 24" diamond plated steel box. It's way too big and way too heavy (for me), but I always have what I need. But I don't think that's what you meant.

I needed a way to store my camera gear when I'm running topless/doorless (I don't always feel like hauling everything in to a restaurant when we stop to eat) and the Tuffy boxes wouldn't work with my soft top boot, which I wasn't about to give up. Had a hard time finding a truck tool box that was small enough to fit in the jeep (max 42" wide in the 2DR). But I also wanted something that was removable so when we're packing for a 3-day run I can take it out if I need more room.

I got a locking ATV toolbox - they come in smaller sizes for mounting on trailers. Since I took the back seat out of my jeep, I cut two holes in the bottom of the box to line up with the seat mount brackets (okay, truth is I got my husband to cut the holes ), then after setting the box over the brackets, we slid bolt things through the bracket (yes, he actually did that for me too, he's a good guy I just give the orders ) so the box is basically bolted down. Works perfectly for me because I wanted to be able to access the box from the front seat.

Also good when I take the jeep grocery shopping and I don't want the groceries blowing around in the back.

but fits mine with top on, but locks well with top off.

Lots of room inside.

only $55 bucks from local home depot store.
