Tow Package + Aftermarket Bumper?
 

Hey everybody I am new this forum and to JKs, but have been a crazy lurker on Pirate4x4/Jeepforum for two or three years now trying to absorb as much info as possible. I am now ready to take the plunge into jeepdom with a new Rubi Unlimited :yup: . My question however, is whether or not an aftermarket bumper will work along side of the factory tow package? I assume the answer is no and that the aftermarket bumpers have a hitch to use in its place, but the factory tow package will probably be legally rated for towing (unlike aftermarket to my knowledge).

if you look closely at the reciever for the tow packages youcan see that it is only attached by 4 bolts that run thru the frame!!! any aftermarket bumper with an integraded hitch is going to have at least twice that many attachment points

I read somewhere that some aftermarket bumpers (details would help now) allow for the use of the stock hitch receiver (or aftermarket ones from Reese or Hidden Hitch).
