Well unfortunately for me the mud grapplers I run enjoy sliding sideways very easy. I put the side of my jeep into a tree yesterday on the trail and am seeing if anyone has a better idea than I do how to fix it. I should be getting a 5x10 sheet of 3/16 that I'm going to make some corners out of, and definitely going to add a slider bar to, but I'm going to try and fix it as much as I can before I put them on. Not too upset about it but definitely a little irritated. It actually got the door a bit too but not too bad.

I've seen damage under the door that was repaired by being cut out and new metal welded in. You may be in the same territory but looking at a full rocker guard to cover it. If I remember right, it's 18ga metal.

stud gun and pull out what you can or cut and replace the panel.

Stud gun was what I was thinking and my buddy agreed on. I think I'm going to cut the panel behind it from the inside and try to push most of it out. I'd rather cut from the inside behind the trim and just weld it back in place and have the trim cover it if I can. If I can find a stud welder I'll try that but I don't want to spend the cash on one. Thanks guys.

Ouch! Glad your okay. Like everyone else said stud gun or hammer it out as much as possible from the back. Get some corners and it won't be as obvious 😜
