trailmaster or skyjacker
is trailmaster or skyjacker suspension any good i found a 3 in bb with shocks from trailmaster for 488 and 2.5 in skyjacker with shocks and coils for the same price
I don't know much about either. I do know that I read a lot of negative stuff on skyjacker, enough to make me nervous about their stuff. I think when you add up all that is said on thus forum you can get a pretty clear idea of what are good kits and those that are subpar.
Teraflex, OME, and Rock Krawler I have always heard good things.

A lot of people report sagging with Rough Country lifts. I agree with the post above about looking instead at Teraflex, Rock Krawler, Old Man Emu, etc. first. You'll find that LOTS of people here are running those three companies and are getting great results.
With your price and choices, go Trailmaster.
I have OME and I like it, but I would probably go Trailmaster now. The OME is a good product and has good support. However Trailmaster is made in the USA (and more importantly for me, is made in Arizona).
I have been to Trailmaster's factory and met the owners, the engineers and the people working throughout the business. They have really impressed me with their products, customer service and involvement in offroading. There really is no reason I would not buy from them or at least strongly consider them for any purchase.
If you have any questions for them they are involved in this forum and usually answer any direct questions to them.

Also be aware with any lift some JKs rip the driveshaft boot on the auto transmission pan. There is a bolt that sticks out a bit and grabs the boot when the left wheel flexes up a lot. I suppose this has a bit to do with the individual jeep or alignment.
