Good question! I too would like to hear some feedback. Especially if people have had issues. A trans cooler is definitely on my near-future list.

I ran a B&M and an auxiliary oil/thermostat housing for my Bronco when I had it. The auxiliary thermostat housing housed a WIX hydraulic fluid filter and was set to open when the fluid got too hot to route to the B&M, through the filter, and back. When it was cool enough, it closed, went through the filter, then back to the tranny. The housing had an auxiliary port that I used for a AutoMeter tranny cooler temp. gauge. Towing and flying through CT, PA, and upstate...NEVER got hot.

I like the B&M stacked-plate coolers better than the fin-type found on other brands. Also the B&M supercoolers allow for the oil flow to bypass the galleries when it is too thick.

ANY aux cooler added to the stocker is an improvement.

The B&M 70264 is pretty popular.
