translucent wheel paint?
hey guys. I'm wanting to achieve a dark smoky look on my stock rubi wheels. I want a gunmetalish look like the COD wheels. i see duplicolor has the paint but I've only seen it applied to achieve a black chrome color and not applied to a silver like my wheels. what do you guys think? should i just paint my wheels the solid color or should i use this translucent spray so i can control how dark i go?

Why don't you start with Smoke Plasti Dip?
It's made to be put on using successive coats to give you the degree of color you want.
And if you don't like it, you just peel it off.
At $7-8/can, seems like a no-brainer first step.
