Default Tri-link rear anyone using one?

Just as it says. Is anyone using a Tri-link rear suspension? If so, how much lift? what are your thoughts of it? Post your pics? What brand? What made you decide to get a Tri-link vs non?

currently, rancho is the only company that i know of that utilizes a tri-link setup in the rear and it's reversed at that.

i believe this is a 4.5" long arm kit.

rock krawler has a 3 link setup in the rear but, it's more of a single control arm that goes down the middle. the gas tank makes it very difficult to do any other way.

wouldn't that cause some serious pinion angle nose dive as the suspension compresses?

there is definitely movement in the pinion as the axle moves up and down but, apparently not enough to make a difference and certainly nothing close to a "serious" amount. this kit has been out for a long time now (one of the first out) and even though i was an early skeptic as well, i have not heard of anyone having a problem with it.

i know this is an older thread, but after looking through pics and reviews of this 4" LA lift from Rancho, i think when it's my time to lift her up, im gonna go for this kit. looks solid as hell and the reviews look pretty good as well!!!

I'm betting a CV driveline is requried with this kit to accomodate the pinion angle chages during compression. I don't think it's a problem however, and an interesting approch to a 3-link...

You should check out rock krawlers 3- link set up I've been using it for about 2 years now no problems and it works great.
