Default Trouble with your Cage????

Have you guys had any trouble getting your sport cage to fit without rubbing on one or both doors. I got my cage in and the passenger side door is rubbing. The door will close but it is rubbing the door right on the inside corner. I was told to put a washer in and it will snug it up but that didnt work. The drive side is just barely touching it is ok. I cant figure it out. I just thought I would ask before I put the grinder to it. Thanks....

my resolution to the problem was to take a die grinder to the inner dash lip and shave off 75% (from the air vent down)

this is the lip that the original side cover rested on is too shallow for the thick metal plate.

after that i loosened all the allen screws and the upper windshield mounting screws and attached a rachet strap from left handle to the right handle on the cage uprights and pulled them together and tightened all bolts down then removed strap. seemed to work good, no more rubbing

b careful with grinder or ugly dash will result!
