true flow xdi
There have been a few that said they have them here. Why they've not answered is anybody's guess. I haven't heard anyhting bad on them yet. If I ever change my mind on the CAI, I might try one. They'd have to come down in price for me because they definately don't add 300 bucks worth of horsepower in my book.
Sorry for the late reply. I just stumbled on this thread. I have the trueflow XDI. I love it. I don't know the exact HP increase but It is noticeable. The sound is great too, nice and deep and not too loud. I hear ya on the price though, I found one on sale a few months ago for $270. Don't think I'd pay $340 or whatever it is now. But the price aside I would definitely recommend it.
I don't have one but have had CAI's before in my other YJs.....
the thing about the gas mileage is ..
well, you'll love the way the CAI makes your jeep sound so you'll be driving it harder which = less mpg..

I like it, the snorkel systems are ok, most are still just ok looking right now but I don't see me taking my jeep in 6 feet of water anyway, so this style would suffice. The XDI would not give you anymore HP than any others CAIs IMO. Can't see their price being worth it, but man it looks good. I still may build my own box and do an Autozone K&N filter with their universal air intake systems, elbows, extensions, etc. Cost me $40 on my 06 Rubi and it performed as good as anything I could have spend $300 for.
That is true about driving it harder because it sounds nice but that got old after the first month. I drive normally for the most part and get about 1 mpg better than I used to. I drive about 20k a year and with the price of gas that means it will pay for itself in less than two years.
