OHH, Ok.. Threw me off with the "footman loops"..

Where's your rear seat going after you fold it down??

Is your 4 wheeling that voilent that your rear seats might flip back up??

I think a good Idea would be one of these cargo nets that fasten to the back of the seats loops and then to the roll bars (or the D rings were putting in the far back corners)

I hadn't thought of an attachment point forward with the seats down for securing cargo.. Maybe a ratchet strap could keep the seats down and also serve as a forward cargo secure point

it tumbles forward on it's own if i fold it down. it won't just lay flat.

my wheelin in my TJ was a lot more violent than this. the Rubi has all kinds of electronics to keep my asshattery to a minimum

Nobodys rear seats lay flat when folded down.. That would have been awesome, but unless you take them completly out, your not going to have flat cargo space...

it's not so much for cargo space, as it is just to clean the lines up when the top is down. a couple footman loops in the back, attached to the child seat anchors on the rear seat would keep it from tumbling forward when folded.

It is more sturdy than the stock console. I liked the layout of the stock console but it was made out of pretty flimsy material . . . the stuff DVDs are in at the stores is tuffer!
