Default Tuffy under-seat security box on a 2011??

Will it fit?

I don't need that much room.. just my wallet and a compact camera, extra keys etc. No firearms to carry.

Which security box is the best fit for under seat in a 2011?? The seat mounts are a bit different in the 2011 than they were in 2008; more plastic trim to deal with. Don't know if this presents any problems.

If you are referring to the one that fits under the driver's seat then yes it will fit. I have one in my 2011. You do need to relocate the harness for the heated seats if you have them. Install time is way under 10 minutes total.

X2, ten minute install on my 2010. I had a impact wrench though. Very happy with mine. Also... Get the combo lock. It's so convenient.

Installed one in my 2011 on Wednesday of this week. Bought it from Dave at Northridge4x4 and it arrived two days later via UPS.
The new instructions cover relocating the wiring and the parts include 2 zip ties for securing the harness.
I highly recommend the combination lock from Tuffy. Northridge carries it, too.
Its an extra $20, but its worth it for two reasons.
1. No key.
2. You can actually latch the drawer closed without locking it.

Thanks all...

Yes, this the box I was referring to. I read the comparison between Tuffy and Best Top's boxes. The Tuffy is larger than I need but the combo lock sounds worthwhile.

I don't have heated seats so no harness worries. That said, my seat brackets don't look like the ones posted in this link.....>

The pictures in this thread of the seat bracket, look like the bracket in my 2008. The '11 has plastic trim pieces concealing most if not all of the of the metal floor bracket.

(??)

Please post pics of your seat brackets. My 11 doesn't have plastic covers.

I'll snap a picture in a bit.. What is your build date and trim model? I now have a base Sport.. Zero frills. I would expect it would be me who doesn't have the trim!!

The '11 2door has a different seat frame. The fold and tumble feature is the difference. The 4door fits, the 2door will not fit.
Sucks for me cause I need a good hidin place.

I could not get the Best Top Version to fit under my Drivers Seat. I have an 11' 2 Dr. Hard Top. The Seat does Slide & Tilt also.
