What should I do next? Here are my current mods: 35x17x12.5 Goodrich BFG M/T tires AEV Pintler 17" Argent Rims 3" BDS Lift Rugged Ridge XHD Front Bumper Superwinch + Synthetic Rope No doors, no top (for now) Steel Blue 4 Door Unlimited Rubicon Here are things to consider: I have a lifetime bumper-to-bumper warranty, so I don't want to do anything too crazy to an expensive component (like the engine or transmission) that I can get replaced for free. If I mess with it...there goes any shot at getting it replaced (I plan on keeping this thing forever, and I'm 30) I live in California for the next 3 years, then...who knows. Probably Florida or Colorado next, possibly DC. Here's a pic. |
How about some armor? If you fill out the "About Me" section, we'll know what else you have, and then can make some recommendations based on what it looks like you might need next.
But you might also look at some diff covers, skids, gussets, Superchip Flashpaq, etc. |
I am a noobie, but I think it would be a good idea to get a rear bumper w/ a tire carrier.
|
i would get either gears, rock rails, or rear bumper and tire carrier
|
That 35 is going to really rag out your rear door. Get a tire carrier for sure first!

grill mod or custom fenders maybe? hahaha you've got a good looking jk. love those rims
|
I'd say rear bumper/tire carrier, flat fenders, regear. Looking good though.

I would recommend the rear tire carrier as suggested.
If you start wheeling a ton, I recommend a couple of easy mods. 1) Aux Oil Cooler - if you haven't over heated yet, you haven't wheeled hard enough 2) Extend the Breather lines on your diffs 3) CB - you will really want this when you start wheeling in a group 4) Relocate your evap cooler - you start wheeling hard you will be glad you did 5) protection for your oil pan - with 35s and your lift, you could easily drive off a rock and expose this critical component to damage and engine failure on the trail. Simple preventative effort hear could go a long way. None of the above are more than $100 but each is a great idea if you haven't done them yet. I would also add some mud and dirt, that Jeep is too clean! Huck:thumbsup: |
