Upgrading my 09 JK
Don't by the skyjacker lift .... You'll be doing it all over again in a year or two if you plan to wheel your rig(my buddy regrets his skyjacker unless they've improved over the last couple years I'd go teraflex of the two you mentioned)My Teraflex has served me well the last 5 years here with Ontario wheeling and Moab and Rausch in the states....... Curious what's your current gear set up? 2 door correct? Auto? Stick? What size are you new shoes?

You realize that that rear tire carrier is just the tire carrier, right? Add another $600 or whatever for the bumper it attaches to.
For the lift, a simple teraflex BB might be all you need. If you want a decent coil setup, do more research than just reading the replies in this one thread. Figure out what all of the various components do, and why you might or might not want them. Maybe consider a basic 2.5" coil lift from RK/MC/Synergy/etc and then add components later when you get around to it.

So I'm guessing 3.73 .... Re gearing is expensive your jeep will be tolerable until you can afford it.... Do the front bumper you can leave the rear for now ... I have my stock bumper on with the Genright tire carrier .... You can also consider the Teraflex tire carrier allows you to keep stock bumper for now
Check out DV8s bumpers on eBay. I have a rear bumper made by them and I love it. They make a tire carrier version.
Teraflex or Rock Krawler are a better option on lifts. Just keep in mind that going cheap on a vital item such as suspension isn't s good idea. The teraflex and Rock Krawler are designed to hold the weight of the armor on your jeep.
If it were me I'd get a good lift. Spend the rest on a front bumper and then a back bumper if funds allowed.

Thx LKWJeeper. Im about 95% sure I'm going to get the Teraflex. I will look at the other brand you suggested. Also, I will take a look at the bumpers. Thx again. Wolfhound127 OUT!
I'd avoid skyjacker, and personally I think teraflex is a really good marketing company with average parts, not in line with Metalcloak or Synergy, or even RK which I wouldn't compare to MC or Syn...IE I wouldn't pay a premium for Teraflex (which they charge). I have a bunch of their stuff and now have mostly Metalcloak, so I'm speaking from experience.
If I were you I would just get some 2.5" springs from synergy or metalcloak, make your own bumpstops (hockey pucks) make your own brakeline brackets, then find some used rear sway bar links and used track bar brackets and you'll probably end up spending around 5-600 tops.
That smitty rear bumper is just the swing arm, not the rear bumper (not 100% sure on this one but thats what it looks like and theres no way its that cheap) just an FYI. I have an eautogrilles rear bumper/tire carrier and like their stuff for the price. The coating sucks but just spray paint it.
