Violant shaking.

I just installed a 4" lift with lca's and now I get really bad shaking at around 30 mph. It only happens when I hit a bump with my front passenger side tire at this speed. I went through and made sure all bolts were tight but its still happening. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a lot of diff things. Mine did that a lot. Got new tires, prob solved. But started again on the same side (passenger side). Think my shock was goin bad. At least thats what 4WP told me.

Did you get an alignment? That would help esp since now u have that adj track bar. Made out of unicorn horns!!

Lol my steering wheel is straight and it is tracking straight.

Did you tighten up the suspension with the full weight of the Jeep on the ground? Also did you torque the control arm bolts to 125 ft lbs?

Here is a chart with common torque specs:

Ran into the same thing had to change my ball joints and the bushing pon the lower dnd of the track bar. There was just a slight bit of play in the ball joint that started the woble

Did you remove your front/rear track bars before doing the lift? my guess, you are experiencing some Death Wobble. hit up DW how too fix. If you didnt loosen or remove your trackbar prior to the lift, it will throw off your body being centered with the frame and when you hit bumps will throw the axle off kilter (as the front trackbar ties into the front passenger side), the shaking is it trying to correct and being unable too.

I did remove the track bars because I put an adjustable one in the front. If anyone can find the how to fix dw thread will you please post it here, I cannot find it.

caster will be an adjustment needed after a 4" lift.......for sure.

After checking your torque, alignment settings and centering both axles, I would check for bump steer issues. Your drag link and track bar should be parallel to each other. With a 4" lift your in the range where a drop pitman arm or a high steer kit is needed.
