I bought a M8000 and was about to fabricate a bracket to mount the solenoid over the spool. However, I found and ordered this mount and will post pics once installed. The mount is fabricated by Searchers 4x4 in Louisiana and the link is htt p://www.searchers4wd.com/winchproducts.html

 

As promised here are the pics. There are actually two versions of the mount. One is universal and the second is designed for the AEV and possibly Fab Fours front bumpers. This info is not on their website and should you have any questions, give Searchers 4x4 a call.
