Warranty issues

is it true that they will void the warranty if i get a lift on my 2010 rubi?

Depends on your dealer. Call and ask for a service guy. My dealer said he would warranty no matter what. 6 inches and 40's and he wouldnt care.

My dealership said I could lift it but the suspension components I replaced would not be warrantied. He also suggested not to go bigger tan 33's or I would have issues with the lifetime power train warranty. I thought about it long and hard and deceided to go with the 2" OME HD lift. I achieved 3 1/2" of lift up front and 3" in the rear. My thinking was Mopar sells a 2" lift so, for argumentitve reasons I went with a 2" lift as well :synister:
I did stay with 33" tires (Duratracs) like the dealer suggested.
I love the set up and the ride is awsome!

My dealer said that I could put a 4 inch with 35's on my 2010 with no warrant issues at all (excluding the suspension parts that were replaced).

Unless you have that in writing it is salesman fluff.

This was told to me by the head of the service department. He said anything bigger than that would void the warranty but I would be fine with 4 inches and 35's.

edit: The salesman actually told me that any lift would void the entire warranty (he was trying to sell me on the extended warranty) but the service manager set it straight.

X2 your service guy will be singing a different tune when you bring it to them covered in mud with a broken axle shaft, knuckles etc.

Big John - what dealer do you use? I'm located nearby and wondering how my dealer will feel about a small lift.
