About to go to one ton axles under my jku. I found a good set of axles near me, 2011 Dana 60 and 2007 14 bolt with disc brakes. However everything I see says to get a 99-06 14 bolt. Problem is I can’t find any info on why its needs to be 99-06 or what changes with 07+. Not worried about passing up on these to find a 99-06 but I would like to know what changes at least.

 

I don't know the answer, but it might be in the link below. For what it's worth, I haven't seen the specific years you mention in any conversations when I was doing my research.
