With Stock wheels, the minimum that you would need to run 285/70/R17 is 2 washers added to each steering stop, takes 5 mins.

you need to climb under your jeep and look at the tag on your stock springs front and rear, different springs for different packages. springs numbers for front were like 13-19 the higher the number usually the stiffer and sometimes higher lift, i think mine were 18's up front and 59' in the rear. search on here for a post on stock spring numbers, also remember i have stock bumpers and no winch,

There was no rub at all with the rear fully flexed. Im running 285/70R17 BFG T/A KO's

I would love to. But they're more expensive and I'd have to buy a lift also...

I assume when all you guys say "no rubbing" .. you mean on the street. Your gonna rub off road ... especially if you disconnect. If you plan on going offroad you'll probably need to trim your fenders.

When I say no rubbing I mean no rubbing.. Disconnected the fronts are still good and with the rear fully flexed as well i have like half an inch to play with. Its close but no rubbing.

yeah, i mean on the streets. I dont know if they will rub if i trim my fenders, but i plan on changing out the fenders to something better with more clearance anyways.

Default To add to the mix...

I have 2007 Rubicon with factory installed 2.5 lift (no spacers)...ordering today Cooper Discoverer STT's 295/70R17...With the lift will I get any rubbing?? Also, will I be ok on stock rim...
