It's gonna be a little louder but not too bad, once i put floorboard down it made it a little quieter

New from the service department the carpets about $900. I have seen people willing to pay $200.

I thought about selling mine but I'm keeping it for now.

Craigslist is free, easy, confidential, and I've sold most stuff in under a week on there.

Not much louder, its a wrangler after all so not quiet to begin with.
No have rubber mats up front, liner in back.

Why not leave it in and do some floor liners? But it might be a regional thing, where I live even a paper thin layer of something is better than nothing for insulation.

It is a regional thing. I ditched the carpet for Raptor Liner when I moved to the SW Desert region of CA. The Jeep gets super dusty running trails. There is no way a vacuum is going to get all the dirt from the carpet. With bedliner, I simply vacuum the bigger chunks out, then use a damp rag to wipe everything else off. In a real messy scenario. Definitely more sanitary.

I still run Quadratec rubber floor mats for added insulation. The combo works well. I didn't notice a real volume difference from stock. I also have not noticed hot footwells, etc from the lack of carpet/ factory insulation.
