Very lucky to have a wife that supports my (our) Jeeping addiction. She send me links to cool Jeep stuff saying "you should get this"
... But she is also the one that says "come on... don't be a wimp and go for that double black diamond". So I blame her when stuff breaks

Well in my case I took a hobby and slowly it grew into a company
I had the business for 16 years, got really sick and had just 30 days to sell it before I was to have brain surgery!
So I retired exactly one month before my 38th birthday
I made enough where I can buy goodies as long as I don't crazy and I won't have to work again
I'm 47 now

Retired in '06. Went to school to become a goldsmith in '07 so I could have a profitable outlet for my profitable hobby of prospecting for gold. I panned my first gold in '71 and have continued all my life. My gold poke paid for my JK and I do OKAY with jewelry so can add a mod here and there over time.
that's what most people do . It seems to me by the time we get there it should be time to buy the new one no?
and it seems I always have one item on my credit card or ready to
saving to get my gussets welded on and replace factory ball joints with the synergy ones I bought . Make a list and buy something , pay it off buy another for a while you get there .

. Using it as a spareThats how ive found a couple parts for my Jeep. Brand new SRC smittybilt rear bumper with hitch and setup ready for tire carrier for $220. I also happened to go to our local 4wheelparts during a huge sale and found a used XRC bumper with hitch and setup ready for tire carrier for $75. Both of these bumpers brand new cost around $550-650 new. I sold the SRC to my buddy and kept the XRC. Tons of deals on craigslist and you never know what you might find.

Single, kidless, never married Electrical Engineer. Just trying to do this slowly and thought out so I'm not regretting it later
And Please please please please, don't put jeep parts on a credit card. Save up and buy. It might take longer to get your Jeep how you want it, but there will be less pressure on you without the extra debt
