Have a 2010 2 dr and I just put in a k&n cold air intake, and a viper throttle body. The thing sounds incredible when u give it a lot of gas, but at about 20 percent throttle, it had a high pitched whistle. It's almost like a loud screech. Any idea what it's from??

 

Anybody have an idea??

 

Are you familiar with sound a throttle body space?

It could possibly have the same sound ? I have no experience with viper tb.

 

Had a K&N on my old XJ, made a whistle. I was unfortunate enough to have it at "cruising" speed so it was constant, and annoying....I will never buy one again.

Did you try removing the TB or CAI to see if either is the culprit?

 

I have the same setup it's the CAI sucking air it's normal I just tell everybody it's my "turbo" lol
