Hey everybody I'm going to buy new tires and want to run 33s. My jeep has a 21/2 inch lift and I have stock 16 steel rims with my 265 75r16 winter tires on them and want to get another set of rims for my new tires but not sure what to look for . 16 or 17 and backspace ?how wide What other vehicles rims that work ? Not fussy they will get blacked out . Any input appreciated . :-)

I'd suggest a 9 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing with a 33x12.50 tire. Rim diameter is strictly personal preference. You can go with 15's or larger.

Some 15in wheels won't fit.. and if you get them make sure they have no more than 3.75" backspacing.

So a 10.5 will fit on stock 17 7 1/2 inch rubicon rims ? I just found these rims but not sure about backspace I don't want to need spacers.

If your investing in new rims make sure they are at least 4.5" - 3.75" back spacing, this leaves room to upgrade later on to larger tires if you choose to.. Ehen you say "a 10.5" are you refering to tire width? If so, yes those will fit fine on the stock rims. If your going with a 32" tire thats 12.5" wide you will need to watch your backspacing on your new wheels or go with spacers.

I have a 2009 and 15" rims will not fit in the front!
