What RU going to do about the fenders?
 

I think that it's pretty much universally agreed that those stock "flenders" need to go.

So far, I've only seen some Bushwacker pocket-style fenders for the JK and I know that Poison Spyder is working on a JK tube fender.

Anyone thought about what they are going to do with their fenders?

paint them to match, I think the sahara's look great that way. Jeep should make color matched flares an option so you could get a flare-painted rubicon

Probably PS tubes, but Adam's a good man, so I'll check out what he's got too.

I like the fenders painted to match For the street but I can't wait to see some cool tube work for off road

I think I will just leave mine as is..... for now.

I also thought of painting mine to match the body, but looking at a rescue green sahara and a rubicon, I thought it looked better with the black flares and a black top (hard or soft). Matching colors looked better in my humble opinion. Of course, if anyone colors theirs and takes some good pics, I may be swayed.

I decided to leave mine stock for now, and if/when a tear them up/off, I'll swap on a different set.

And I dont see where it says the fenders are removeable in the owners manual....
