I know what a chalk test is (put chalk on tire, roll tire, see how tread pattern looks) but what is the proper way to do the test? What kind of chalk do you use? I would think that the stuff in a bottle for string lines would work. But does it wash off the tire easily? Do you guys roll on paper or just pavement ?

Just checked my psi and it was at 50. Tires and wheels where purchased and shipped mounted and balanced from a big name website. Aired down to 30 and ride is much better.

I definitely should go check mine, I haven't in a while but I'll tell you I have no trouble in the soft sand on the beach

I run 30 psi in my 35s and they are wearing great and ride smooth.
