Not really sure... Did my taxes the day I received my W2. I don't have anything complicated like rental property, multiple incomes, children, etc., etc. Just me, 1 form of income and a few expenses to write off. Requested a direct deposit and that was it.

I only ask cause last I read the IRS wasn't accepting returns till the 28th of January, that's a quick turn around. My taxes Im giving my kids (10,6) a couple hundred each to buy what they want, give my wife some, not sure what ill be getting for my jeep. I have money set aside right now for some truck lites and some dually d2s. Maybe ill rhino line the inside finally

When I submitted mine, they said that because of the shutdown in October, the IRS wouldn't start processing until 1/31. A day or two later I got an email from H&R saying that my return had been semi-processed or something and that because of this, mine would be one of the first to process when the IRS started. I was anticipating getting it back like the third week of February myself.
