Default Whats this mod?

Hi all, Apologies if this is a novice question but I am looking to buy by first Wrangler. The inspection report for the vehicle has some underbody photos which indicate it has some modification to the front suspension (not the Bilstein damper). Can anyone tell me what the blue brackets in the photo are for? They look like they are mounted on the end of sway bar drop links:
Many thanks in advance!
BTW Its a 2012 Rubicon.

They're just brackets as a means for the links to connect the sway bar and the axle. Not sure why someone would have painted those blue. Looks like you have a right hand drive vehicle there?

It has a small lift and the lift provided offsetting brackets for the sway bar links.

*And they need to rotate that toe rod shock mount.

Is that not AEV that uses those to move the links up instead of providing longer links?

Im not in the US so thats why its RHD! The diesel is an option though...and probably more within my price range, however this Rubicon turned up for a decent price (as it needs a little work i think)

Thanks for the help, I was hoping it was stock as it needs 2 rear shocks. Not sure as to the history of the mods as it is at a dealer. Looks like it used to run 33" on 16s (the spare is this size), but at some point some has put 4 265/70 r16s so it looks strange...especially now it turns out its on non stock suspension.

I've attached all the photos I have underneath the jeep so please feel free to point out anything that rings alarm bells (apart from the oil leak / blown rear shocks) The Jeep its very very far away from where I live so will have to get a friend to look at it for me, so any info I can arm them with would be useful. So far I've seen the following:
.
  1. 2 blown shocks :Anyone have an idea as to what make the shocks are as they are going to need replacing? (Ive included a close up of label)
  2. Oil leak; Sump gasket?
  3. Aftermarket exhaust
  4. Missing transfer case rock shield?
  5. New prop shaft

Thanks for the help

I guess living up in Canada I'm scanning for rust more than anything and that doesn't look bad.

In terms of cost, shocks are probably one of the easier repairs you can have so in that case I'd do all 4 since you don't know how good the fronts are as well. They are also cheap relatively speaking. The leak on the oil pan could be the gasket or it could be the rear main oil seal. The oil pan is actually in two pieces.

If it is the rear main and this is a manual transmission I'd probably do the clutch depending on mileage. If high mileage I would consider doing it unless it's service records indicate it was done recently. If one needs to be done I would do both as it's the labour cost that is going to kill you if you have to into that area twice.

One other thought, if this is the 3.6L there is an extended warranty in the US on the cylinder head as it has a known problem from 2012 and 2013. So if the motor is sounding rough especially on that side check the mileage, here the warranty was good till next year, forget what the mileage was. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...62951-0335.pdf
