Default Wheel help

I have a currently stock 2007 Sahara with 18 inch rims. I am looking at getting 16 inch rims, but the guy I am planning on ordering them through said they won't just fit right on because of the caliper. Will the 16's clear or do I need to go spacers? I would take his word, but he hasn't put rims on a JK yet. Thanks

Some 15's have clearance issues. Haven't heard of any 16's that rub.

See the Modified Faq's for info on backspacing.

My stock 2009 X came with 16 inch rims. I am pretty sure they don't rub.

16's will NOT rub the caliper.

Go ahead and order them

Yeah I have only heard problems with some 15's. There are a TON of people running 16's no problem. Id say you are in the clear.
