Wheel Spacer Help

Wheel Spacer Help
All, I have 2015 JK Sport Unlimited. I'm wanting to add the teraflex leveling kit. I was told that I will need wheel spacers for stock wheels. I plan to put KO2 or Pro Comp 285/70/17 on after the level kit is added. However, I have no idea what size wheel spacers to get. I want it to have a nice stance but still be practical for hwy/dd vehicle. Any help/suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks

I have 285/70-17's on stock wheels on a stock sport. Without the spacers you'll rub the control arms in a full lock turn. I bought the spidertrax 1.5" to put on but haven't had the time yet. Just adding the tires alone will change the "stance" and make it nicer on the highway with more rubber touching the road.

You want the 1.5" spacer/adapters with two sets of bolts. Not the thin kind that sandwich between and give the lugnuts less thread to grab. Spidertrax is the big name, but there are other options available. Teraflex makes some in a 1.25" size - but take note of the caution in the instructions that you may need to trim the wheel studs with this size spacer.
Some have noted clearance issues caused by where you mount the new links, a possible work-around that others have tried is to simply mount the links inside rather than outside the bracket. Take a look at the install guide for the lift and see if that makes sense.

spidertrax
1.5" spidertrax here with 285 70 17 and stock wheels. I've run them for a few years now for thousands of miles with no problems. Check their website for factory blems, you'll save some coin. Thats what I got and couldn't find the cosmetic blemish that they were supposed to have.

1.5" Spidertrax will bring the tires out flush with the fenders with 33's. It was one of the first mods I did on my 07 way back when. Make sure you hand torque them, use plenty of LocTite, and I put a very thin layer of never seize between the spacer and the disk.(not the threads)

Unless there's something special about that leveling kit, instead of spacers, a thin washer can be added to both steering stops to keep 285/70-17 tires from hitting the lower arms. The turn radius is barely affected, it only costs 50 cents, the tire won't hit the fender lip at full tilt (swaybar disconnected), and it's easier on the ball joints.

I was able to run 285/70 17 Duratracs by adding 2 washers to each steering stop with no rubbing. I had the Rubicon stock wheels so not sure if your wheels have the same back spacing but it worked for me and I barley noticed the loss of turning radius.
