Default wheel spacers

So I ordered a BDS suspension lift and it says that I need 4.5" backspacing on my wheels so I ordered new wheels and tires to go with it. My wheels are on backorder so I was wondering if I absolutely need wheel spacers to to run the stock wheels for only a week or two or would it not work at all?? thanks fellas

Thought I saw somewhere that stock rims had 6"+ backspace. If thats true you would risk damage to your new set up.

The 35x12.5 tires will have interference problems on stock rims without spacers.

Check the Modified FAQ for the specs.

I am running the BDS lift with stock rims and 35 inch tires, you will need the spacers. I think mine are 1-1/4 and when I turn all the way to the stops my tires rub slightly on the rear of the tires.

When I get new tires I will also be getting new wheels that are back spaced so I can take off the spacers.

X2 But I don't think he's planning on mounting the new 35's to his stock wheels and then remounting them to his new wheeels. I assume the OP is asking if he can run his stock wheels+tires until his new ones arrive.

In that case, you should be fine for a week or two. I'm currently running the TF 2.5 w/o spacers and it does rub off road, but as a temporary thing, it shouldn't be a problem.
