Default Wheel Spacers

Stupid question from a newbie, but I want to make sure I do the right thing. Going to move to the 285/70/17 tires (no lift) and most seem to agree that wheel spacers should accompany this upgrade. However, do I need 1.25" or 1.5" spacers? I figure the tire is only about 1" wider than stock, but I have seen both size wheel spacers mentioned.

Thanks in advance!

I would go the 1.5" spacers, less rubbing when turning, and I love to see the tires hang out the side fenders when I'm off road.I can see what I'm doing
A little loctite and you're good to go

Mine are on the wish list in 4wd. (spidertrax 1.5 after you click on the pic to look at them, but they were labeled 1.25) Trying to get the ol' lady and my mom to go to my wish list and buy some stuff for me for Christmas or my B-day in Feb.

I would not go 1.25 as there are reports that on some JKs they are not wide enough to cover the factory lugs and stick out contacting the wheel. Not only could that damage your wheels it's very unsafe.

Default Fo Sho 1.5

I just put mine on like month and a half ago great item def stopped all the rubbing I mean I also ripped off the stupid air dam which stopped alot of it too, plus gives a nice stance not really sticking out too much(as if had a lift) but just a little to give a great look, you will love it!!!

I'll plug the 1.5" as well. That's what I'm running. No issues.
