Default Wheel and Tire Recommendations?

Hey everyone, really new to the forum. I've had a 2008 JK sahara (silver) since about august and have lightly modded it since. once i figure out how to post pics, ill show u guys lol. anyways, I really want to ditch my OEM wheels and tires. Ive been looking around and have decided that I think a 33" will be a good tire size for my jeeps purpose (DD and light offroading in the warmer months). So, to everyone out there with modded JK's, what wheel and tire setup do you recommend/ looks nice? im open to most things. pics would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

It will be up to personal preference. Satin black steel wheels are king on these forums but I'd say painted/brushed (not chrome - you'll never hear the end of it) aluminum alloy wheels are awesome too for weight and looks. Hints of black on that alloy will enhance the look too.

Goodyear Duratracs, BFG all terrains and Toyo open country are popular. If its for looks and light off roading, might wanna consider the super affordable Yokohama Geolanders too - its lighter on threads but still has a nice on road look.

My 2 cents.

For 33" I think 16" wheel is best. I have MB72 wheels in matte black. They look a lot line the ever popular soft 8 but they are alloy and don't cost much more. I still think the BFG all terrain is the best all around tire for daily driver/weekend warrior type rigs. I a currently running some Falkens that I got for about 150 a tire. They aren't bad, but not as good as the BFGs. See profile pic.

On the silver jeeps I really like the look of this type of wheel. Maybe not this exactly. But something like it. I run the xd addict. It's a 17" wheel. I purposely went Bfg km2 because they run small yet are an amazing tire. So I went 35x12.5x17 and it's essentially a 33. Here are some pics

I think a set of the Black AEV Pintlers would look good with some GY Duratracs on that Silver JK.

As you can see I'm a big fan of Pintlers and KM2's so they get my vote.
