I had my wheels road force balanced. They are steel wheels with E rated, kevlar tread Goodyear Silent Armors (they are heavy is the point).

Anyway the balance guy told me whoever originally balanced them screwed up big time. Too many stick on weights.

He put on clip weights instead. Some are on the inside and some on the outside of the wheel, but overall not too much weight.

FWIW they are balanced perfectly now.

yep, most tire companies have a degree of just how balanced the tire is, as a form of quality assurance. example, Mickey Thompson Guarantee's that the degree of balancing you need for your tire will not exceed 1% of the total weight of the tire. Pretty much if your tire weighs 100 pounds and you need more than 1 pound of weight to balance it then they'll send you a new one!

not sure about other companies, but 10oz for a 32" tire may be a little much, by MT's standards, but may fit into BFG's standards. look into it, you may get a free replacement.
