Default Wheel widths

I'm going to purchase some wheels that have to be 17 inch because of a great deal I got on some 35 1250 17 nitto trail graps but my question is what width wheel you guys would run ? I'm guessing I have to run 10 inch wide wheels to take full benifit of lowering pressure

Check nittos website. I believe they are okay with anything from 8.5-11. I am trying to find 9+ to be more confortable with the mounting as I'm affraid to mount them on the stock wheels. They measure in at over 13" wide too, according to their site.

You will be find from 8 to 10 inches wide. Seems that a 9 inch wide wheel is the most common among JK owners.
