Default Wheels

Looking at Weld Rekon wheels. Love the machining, hate the black (and the price). Any recommendations? I'm looking for 17's with 4.5" of backspace.

Trail Ready. Any backspace you want. What size tire you running? 4.5" is good for 35s. Most people running beadlocks are on larger tires.

I'm looking in the 33-34 inch range, non bead lock. I'm going to get flat fenders and no lift.

I've always been a fan of steel wheels. My Cragar Soft 8's were about $55 each. If you smack a rock or a curb, they can be hammered back into shape or replaced.

just picked up a set of 35x12.5x15 BFG KM2's that measure out to 34"

Have you looked at Black Rhino wheels? I have Glamis in 17s w 4.5 in of backspacing. I found the best price I could and then emailed discount tire direct and they beat the price and shipped for free. Here is a pic of them when I picked it up from the tire shop.

Flynlo, I don't like black wheels, but I like your rationale for running steel wheels. What does each of your wheel/tire assemblies weigh?
