Default Where Can I Get Security Torx Bolts?

Hey, I just installed windshield brackets and IPF 968s - trying to think of a way to keep them secure.

Was wondering if anyone had a source from torx bolts with the luttle stud in the middle for a bit of extra security??

Thanks

Thats fairly minor security imo. You can get safety torx from sears and they work in both regular and safety torx..so its almost more common than standard torx. Only suggestion is a GOOD hardware store, or maybe an online bolt source. Whats keeping them from just unbolting the light from the windshield bracket?

These are good points regarding the minimum added security, but the security torx should stymie the " thieves of opportunity".

I am interested in any solution you find, since I have the same security concerns.

I've bought torx from these guys in the past, they are in SoCal but they ship.

Here in BC's Lower Mainland we have a store called Ammo supplies - if you have one near you go there. Otherwise see if you can look up 'fasteners' or suppliers of them. They'll have what you need.

Most thieves aren't carrying torx drivers anyway, they usually look for the easiest target and carry only basic tools. That being said, if they really want any of your Jeep's accessories they'll get them one way or another. The harder you make it for them to steal it, the more damage they'll cause to your rig when they try to remove it.
