Default Who Runs Tight Backspacing Offset

I am running wheels with 5.75 inch backspacing this is equivalent to 25 MM offset on 17x8.5 inch rims. The clearance is good and I have not had any issues but I havent had a chance to flex with my new wheels yet. I am not going to do any real testing until I get my 4 inch lift installed.

One thing I did run into is that with new wheels you dont have to do anything to mount a 35 inch tire on the spare tire carrier. But with my new wheels I had to use one of my Spidertrax to get it on there.

I like the tight spacing to keep the wheels and tires under the flares but I am hoping I dont run into any rubbing issues other then the stock air dam.

not sure about potential backspacing problems, but it looks great

maybe you can go to a local costco and get buddy buddy with a hi-lo operator and ask him to flex up your rig..

Thankfully, I have a forklift that I use to test out my setups so no surprises on a trail 5 hours from home

I am running 5.5" backspacing on mine but had to go with 1.25" spacer to get the wheel on after lift and still catch the air dam and bumper

I appreciate the replys. I am not sure how I am going to test the flex just yet. I know of a loading dock that has a steep ramp that I could use and there is a local wheeling club with a 23 degree ramp I could use also. I will test it out as soon as i get the lift on. I cant wait to test it out. Pics will come.

When you check it, be sure to turn the steering wheel back and forth when flexed. That's likely when you'll be most likely to rub.
