Default Winch or Rock Sliders

Hi,

I'm planning to go to Moab in April with few others. Unfortunately none of us got a winch and I only have just enough funds to either buy Rock Rails or a winch but not both. My jeep does have Sahara Side Steps. Do you think it would be okay to use side steps instead of rockers?

What do you think i should 1st invest in winch or the rock rails?

thank!

If you're going with a bunch of other folks, I'd think the winch would be less crucial (although you'll want a snatch strap). Big rocks = body damage. You need sliders.
