Default Yet anther hub centric ring question

I read threads about hub centric ring, and I must say I don't know if this is required or not. The idea is that I order cragar soft 8 17x8 (I still waiting them), I found the specs of these rims see below.

The spec clearly mention that this is not a hub centric wheel. So I m a little puzzled of what I should do, i.e. order a hub centric ring or not?

Rim Diameter (in): 17 in.
Rim Width (in): 8.00 in.
Backspacing (in): 4.500 in.
Offset (mm): 0.00mm
Wheel Material: Steel
Wheel Finish: Black
Wheel Construction: 2-piece
Beadlock Included: No
Beadlock Functional: No
Lug Nut Seat Style: Conical seat - 60 degree
Lug Nut Shank Diameter (in): in.
Washer Outside Diameter (in): in.
Hub Centric: No
Center Bore Diameter (in): 3.300 in.
Center Cap Included: No
Valve Stems Included: No

This is my opinion, so take it for what it is worth.

90% of all aftermarket wheels are not hubcentric and yet you here of all these people using said wheels having broken studs or other problems. I feel if you use the correct lug nuts and correct torque you are fine with any quality wheel.

I found mine much better with the rings on. Worth the piece of mine IMO. I dont want my vehicle resting on lugs.

Could someone expand on the rings previosly mentioned? I'm about to go from stock wheels + spidertrax spacers, to procomp 7089...also a non-hibcentric wheel.

Thanks!

The hub centric ring is a piece that comes on the axle wheel hub flange so that the weight of the vehicle is not supported only by the lug but shared with the hub centric ring.

From my understanding rims manufacturer should state if the rim is hub centric or not. This info is rather difficult to find and my concern was even if the manufacturer did not state that the hub centric ring is needed, is it still suitable?

Now if you use a spacer I don't know if this hub centric ring will fit. When you use a spacer you move the rim outward from the wheel mounting flange then the rim might be off (enough) that the rim will not be supported by the axle hub, unless the spacer does provide this hub.

you can find a figure here that explain the hub centric stuff https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...=cragar&page=3
