Default your two cents

i just purchased a 07 unlimted rubicon and want some opinions about brand and even height of lift. i am looking for a 3 to 3.5 inch lift. i would prefer a complete bolt on system. think 33s now then 35s later so want something that will fit 35s but not silly with 33s. it takes 3hrs to get to trails so alot of on road. needs a nice on road ride too.

so a

tereflex 3inch with full flex arms (i have read very loud when wheeling)
or
rubicon express 3.5inch super flex
or
rock krawler x-factor 3.5inch plus mid arms
or
full traction 3inch premium flex

if you have any others that you think would work out better
please let me know. and if you have the above systems opinion on it
please. thanks!!!!!!!!

Im running 4" and 35's with plenty of room so 3" and 33's would not be that bad at all. Im sure that you can find pictures of that setup with no problem.

But for your list I noticed you said the teraflex was very loud....I have the rear arms from that kit and I have to say that they are loud. but if you keep them tight and greased its alright.

Nature of the Beast....Its gunna make funny noises haha

If you're even THINKING about 35s now, put um on.

HUh? I don't think so. TeraFlex control arms have a greasable modular flexjoint (not a HEIM which tend to squeak) and the other end is a OEM bushing. Plus TeraFlex tend to be more complete. Take a look at our rear trackbar bracket and compare it to other brands. No one has ripped a bracket with a ours.

X2, if you are lifting now then just get the 35s now too and be done! And of the lifts you mentioned I would lean toward RE, but as mentioned the Clayton kit is good as well.

I can't definitively answer your question but I can narrow your search by pointing you in the direction of the Rubicon Express and the Rock Krawler lifts they produce absolutely quality products. Rock Krawler backs all their kits up with a lifetime warranty on all hard parts. If you break it send them a picture and wait for your new part to arrive in the mail. You wont get that with RE.

I drive on a Pro Comp 4" mid arm lift on 33's and I love the setup; I can really stuff those tires!!! Take a look if you are thinking about a little more lift.

I am certainly no expert in fact I don’t know squat but I’ll give you my take none the less.
All of the lifts you have named seem to be very reputable companies and you will find satisfied people using all of the lifts you have mentioned.
From what I have read most (and I stress most) of the problems incurred with lifts are installation problems. Should you install the lift yourself, unless you are an excellent mechanic, have your install checked out by the most qualified individual you can find.
