Default Sun bonnets for the JL

I have a mesh & nylon Sun bonnet, both Mopar OEI , for my 2020 4D JL. I’ll be installing it in the next day or two. Are you able to keep the Sun bonnet on with the hardtop re-installed.

And if it can remain on are there are pros or cons in leaving it on?

That Mopar one appears to cover the top of the rollbar which is going to prevent the freedom panel guide pins from aligning with the rollbar. Due to that issue, I'd suggest you can't have it fully installed while the hardtop is on. Also though, you'd have to remove the footman loop connections anyhow to get the freedom panels on at which point the front would droop down a bit. What you could do is leave it semi-installed....undo the front part and flip it over the sound bar to the back....then plop the hard top down. This is what I do with my screens on my JKU.

Thanks......that makes sense. After studying the install instructions and looking at the top closely I see what you mean.
