Well I've pretty much haven't had time to call back Kris at CCJC. I wasn't planning on riding untill my AtoZ sliders come in but they have been backordered now for 4 weeks and they said another 3 weeks.
Goal is to get those on and hopefully get a ride in with them before I have to start the whole jet ski and Boat mods.
CB is not resolved at this point. I've done everything possible to the install now a CB guy (in nebraska) told me to check the grounds on the engine becasue it's not Alternator interference it is called Ignition Noise as it is a constant sound and does not change as I shift or turn on items that draw amps.
What this means is either the engine ground is corroded, Spark plug wires are causing it or something else.
Solution is to find every ground and fix them one by one until I find the problem. I've fixed one right above the battery but it changed nothing. Now it is a seek and find mission that will take several hours to troubleshoot.

Ahhh, you gotta love the wonderful world of electronic gremlins.
Here’s an idea. Can you hit radio shack and get an actual cigarette lighter plug then wire the CB to that plug? If that somehow fixes the noise it will give you a better starting point to troubleshoot from.
Sometimes it can be the smallest most simple thing overlooked and you figure it out after you rip the machine or Jeep apart.

Hey All. I'm in the Brighton/Allston ara of Boston. I've had the jeep for about a month, and can't wait to do some offroading in Maine and VT. I hd the top down for the first time yesterday (4/10) when it was 73 here in Boston. Needless to say, I was pumped. Go Sox!
